Customer Review: Very cute!

I am a professional artist and have painted a number of murals. When we had to move out of our old house, I hated to leave behind the elaborate mural I hand-painted for my daughter. I purchased these decals, with great reservation, and the alphabet decals to spruce up my daughter's new room in our rental home. I think for the price, they are great! I would charge someone hundreds of dollars, if not thousands, to paint a mural, and for less than fifteen bucks, these do the trick. Don't get me wrong, they are by no means the same image quality of a hand-painted mural, but for a quick fix to a little girl's room, these are much better than expected.
As mentioned by others, they are small. After some work, I made several cute little vignettes throughout the room, mingled in with the alphabet set and the animals it comes with. Between the two sets, I had more than enough to decorate a large kids room.
These are a nicer, matte finish than the alphabet ones, which are a shinier vinyl. But these are a little more delicate, and I did rip a couple of the smaller pieces when peeling them off. Nothing I couldn't re-stick right to the wall, though.
**I could see how others would have a hard time arranging these--I am a pro and it took some planning. In hindsight, it would have been even easier to put up the all-flower or all-butterfly set---something that can just be scattered all over the walls rather than arranged into little scenes. So if you're someone who is short on time or patience, the other sets might be better for you. But if you like decorating and playing around with scenery, this is a good option :)
