Customer Review: Nice. But....

...I am happy with this product. However it is not perfect. Soon as I pulled it out of the packaging feathers starts flying and it was obvious there was about an inch of stitching at the corded edge that was not closed. I can fix that. I recommend taking a good look at the item when you receive it to make sure it is well put together. I had originally purchased the Silver model comforter and returned it due to bad mfg. The center panels on that item were nearly empty of feathers (see my review at that item's site). After reading the reviews at both the Silver and Gold model's pages, it seems there is a quality control problem with this company. I am happy with this Gold comforter. It is warm and the high thread-count cover is lovely. Other than the gapped stitching, I'm not having any feather leakage. If you order from these folks, just take a good look at the feather distibution and give it a good shake to look for stitching probs. When it is put together well, it is a good product for the price.
