Used this kit to repair my old dishwasher racks - after months of use, the repair has held up well - none of the caps have fallen off and the rusted spots I touched up with repair liquid have stayed repaired (I had sanded all rust spots carefully with plumbers' emery cloth to remove all rust.) Use liquid sparingly on caps so just a little squeezes out when the cap is firmly installed. Liquid dries very fast in the open bottle so work fast and keep cap firmly closed when not using (such as when you need to clean off more rust.) Very pleased with this item.
