Customer Review: Not worth the money

I purchased this unit on 10/29/09 and was able to use it 3 times before it seized up on 10/18/10, approximately 4 hours use total. We always mixed the fuel properly, there is no reason this unit should have failed. Discovered that Ryobi offers a 1 year warranty on refurbed products. Contacted Ryobi and was told to take it to a local service center, so I did. The service center told me that Ryobi has never honored the warranty in this circumstance and that they wouldn't even try to fix it. I am highly disappointed. This unit was not worth the $85 I paid for it, I advise anyone considering this product to look elsewhere. Buy from another brand, save your money.Customer Review: This thing sucks

I just got the ryobi blower in and boy was it a waste of my time even opening the package. the thing started on the first 3 pulls and everything else went downhill. Pushed the trigger and heard some rattle then the rattle got loader and the darn thing stopped. Would not start after that. The unit looked like it had been thrown in a gravel pit but i understand it is reconditioned but not to have it run is unforgiveable. called customer service and they said mail it back and they will refund my money. I guess we will see about that. Well going to Home depot to get an echo like i should have done in the first place. Dont waste your time or money on this POS.Customer Review: Very Nice Product

I did allot of shopping and comparing prices and reviews before purchasing this blower. When I received it I could not tell that it was a reconditioned blower. This is the first gas blower that I have owned/used and I must say it has exceeded all of my expectations its easy to start (2-3 pulls) has plenty of power to blow even wet leaves. Only issue I had was after following starting directions exactly the blower is sluggish when throttle is applied I found letting it warm up in half throttle for a minute and then switching to full throttle works great. I highly recommend this blower to anyone looking for a hand held leaf blower at a great price.Customer Review: Nice Product...1 Issue

CPO was very prompt in shipping. I received the product 3 days before the quoted delivery date.
The product itself looked brand new. Only some shelf wear on the bottom. The suction blades even looked brand new. I filled it with pre-mix, pumped the bulb a few times and it started on the 3rd pull. Ran great!
The one issue I have is that the machine working as a blower is great, but, acting as a vacuum, the tubes to the bag do not stay attached. I had to physically hold the tubes together as I sucked leaves, which became cumbersome very quick.
Other than that, great product I would recommend to anyone.

The blower looked basically new with a few scratches on the bottom (nothing noticable). Filled it with fuel, followed the instructions and it started right up. Ran about a minute and died, Restarted ran another minute and died again. Since I knew it was a fuel problem, I checked the fuel filter, It looked new but I blew it out with an air hose anyway. Started it up again and ran it about 30 minutes with no problems. Have used it about 3 times since with no problems. The blower seems to be well constructed with the exception of the blower tubes which I consider to be thin and flimsy. It starts easily now and runs like a champ.
