This blower is a piece of (reconditioned) junk. It has several different versions sold under the same name, and most do not have an air filter (nor can one be added without extensive modifications to the blower.) This dooms it to fail within a short amount of time (read other reviews by long term owners.) It receives poor reviews on other web sites as well. The air output and vacuum force are very weak compared to others, and it vibrates excessively. The impeller on mine "blew up" within minutes of vacuuming a pile of leaves (no rocks!) I purchased this blower from amazon and could not be more pleased. I had an old homelite blower that was hard to start and was not very powerful. This ryobi blower is very easy and quick to start and has plenty of power and is not too loud I have had other gas blowers that are much louder. It is pretty lightweight and makes cleaning up my acre of land a breeze. It looked almost brand new out of the box with just a few scratches on the bottom. All the accessories were new and included. Overall a great value at $85 on amazon. At my local retailer it sells new for $140. I would recommend this blower.Customer Review: Super product

I have been using this blower for almost a month. It is better than advertised. The one I received could not be told from brand new if the word reconditioned was not on the box. It started easily and seems to have more power than most in this class that I have had over the years. I have not used the vacuum/mulcher yet but it will probably work as well as the blower. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a light weight blower. My last blower was a WeedEater and it was a bit lighter in weight but the Ryobi is a lot more powerful and seems better built.Customer Review: Amazon refuses refund for defective product

Item does not run properly and smells like burning plastic when running. Amazon refused to let me return this item because it contained gas. They told me to take it to a local service center for repair and that they would reimburse me up to my purchase price. I could not get any service centers to assure me that the repair cost would be less than my purchase price so I am stuck with a defective product. I will try to get the factory to warranty this product. Lesson learned; don't buy products that run on gasoline on-line. Now I know why Stihl only sells through authorized full service dealers.Customer Review: Works great!

This is my third leaf blower and it works great. One of the others is electric, and I get tired of lugging extension cords around the yard, so I enjoy the portability. I had bought an el-cheapo at an outlet store, but it died (a bearing seized). This one meets my needs very well. The only thing I don't like is carrying it around in my hand. I think I would have been happier with a back-pack model, but just couldn't afford one. Also, when I hold it in my right hand, the intake has a tendency to suck in my pants leg, which also causes the rpm's to increase. Otherwise, good tool!
