Tools and Hardware Reviews of Factory-Reconditioned Ryobi ZRTS1342L 10-Inch Compound Miter Saw with LaserCustomer Review: Small and light weight Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this to take on job sites due to it's light weight. It cuts well enough providing you take the blade that comes with it and toss it. You won't be able to get an accurate cut with the flimsy blade they send with it. It's not built for any abuse ,due to it's light weight, so you want to treat it gently so it will last. And if it gets stolen on the job site your only out a hundred dollars. Works for me!
Customer Review: Bad to start with. Wonder why the have so many recond. tools? Summary: 1 Stars
I've tried a couple of Ryobi products. Very disappointed. It's the low end of Rigid tools and they're not for serious use. If you're a occasional home repair tinkerer, maybe. However is you ever have a project that requires a lot of use of any tool, I would not waste my money. DeWalt and Makita are much better made and will last much longer.
You get what you pay for.
Customer Review: Great! Summary: 5 Stars
I would not call the condition like new, but it worked great and is in really good shape. Some of the parts did look like they had been replaced, like the blade and dust bag. I used mine for a small project, and found that the laser is a must have for one of these saws. I recommend this product for someone who wants to save a few bucks and will use it around the house.
Customer Review: Minnie Job Site Tool Summary: 4 Stars
I have a large compound saw I use in my shop but needed a small one which would be light enough to easily carry to a job site. This saw was inexpensive and fit my needs. Amazon as usual was prompt in delivery and the saw came to me in new condition. I like the way it works and is good for the small jobs I plan on for its use.
Customer Review: Does the job. Summary: 5 Stars
I hesitated on buying a "reconditioned" tool but took a chance on this one. Have used it now frequently and have had no problems with it. The cuts are precise and the ease of use is perfect for me. I do small woodworking projects so don't know how it would hold up on bigger projects. For me, it's perfect, just what I needed.
