Have and use quite a number of the Ryobi 18V tools and find them to be excellent in performance and value for my uses, which are sort of advance homeowner home project oriented.
Have had two of the original NiCad batteries for some time, and as NiCad rechargeable batteries do over time, they are starting to lose their charge quickly whether in use or just sitting. One of the two is now nearly useless.
I have a friend that had the same issues a year or so ago, went with the Lithium upgrade, is very happy with it, and let me try his batteries with my tools to see what I thought.
They are definitely much better in performance than even a new NiCad, and even somewhat lighter to boot, which isn't a bad thing either. I'm very happy with the tools and this has been a very positive maintenance upgrade. I will continue to get one or two more additional batteries when the last of the NiCads dies.
The Vendor in this case had very decent pricing, and shipping was flawless.
