I've had two of these screwdrivers for twelve years and am only now replacing the batteries. The screwdrivers still work great. They are VERY strong, will screw or unscrew virtually anything, and the batteries last a long time between charges. I once lost one of them for over a year - couldn't imagine what happened to it - and finally found it right where I'd left it - inside an evaporative cooler on the roof of my house. The metal parts - collar and screwdriver bit - were totally rusted, but when I put a freshly charged battery in the unit worked just fine, and does so to this day. I have had this screwdriver for a couple of years now and it has always worked great. I bought it to replace a prior Skil brand driver that was just a bit too weak. The power of this unit has always been good. I like the fact that the battery charges inside the screwdriver, rather than having to take it out (as with some other cordless drivers.) I have never used the storage space in the handle, but i can see how it might be useful. I very much like the auto-lock feature which allows you to use the unit like a standard screwdriver.Customer Review: "Super Twist" Is A Fitting Name

Have owned one for at least 12 years, went through a couple of batteries, now its finally time for a new one. Sturdy, perfect power, efficient, all the great things everyone else has already said. Buying my second one, even if they quit making the batteries, I can't complain about a tool that lasts as long as this one and works as hard for the price. Their new flex handle version looks nice also, but this one has come to feel like an extension of my hand, with years of solid service.Customer Review: I'm buying a second one because it really works great!

I have owned my Skil 2211 Super Twist Screwdriver since 1991, after first owning another brand (that wore out too soon for me). I have used it for computers, hanging window coverings, home workshop projects, boat and automotive maintenance, and just about anything requiring a screwdriver or nut driver. It works, saving me blisterd palms and sore wrists many, many times. It is one of those simple utilitarian tools that "works fine, lasts a long time" - period!Customer Review: Old battery lasted 7 years

One of the best things to mention about this screwdriver is the fact that you can't possibly over-tighten (and possibly break something) if you hold it with a soft grip. I have owned one of these since 1994 and just now have had to replace the batteries. I have two batteries to insure that the screwdriver is always ready to use. I bought a cordless drill and found that I could not control the force of the driver nearly as well as the Skil-Twist.
