I bought this pillow for my husband, who snores loud and has sleep apnea. The snoring didn't bother me so much, and in truth I was a bit used to it after 5 years, but the apnea was a big concern since he'd stop breathing for 15 seconds at at time and he'd wake up tired. I bought him this pillow about a week ago as an alternative to a sleep clinic and that first night I noticed a huge difference. Whereas his snoring was very loud before, it was reduced to a low snore. His apnea was still there but nowhere near as bad. I was not woken up in the middle of the night with him snorting or choking. It's been the same steady result since we got the pillow, and it doesn't seem to matter how he sleeps (on his side or on his back) in order for it to be effective. I have to give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it didn't completely solve the problem (although I am no longer considering a sleep clinic).
