Even after reading some critical reviews I purchased this device and was able to get it up and running in less than a minute. I placed it in a dark area by the furnace where it was difficult to see the light switch. This device works perfectly for THIS PURPOSE. There is more than enough light to walk in and see the switch.Customer Review: great light for the price!!

bought two of these lights for the hallway and they work great! have grandkids up and down the stairs all the time, thought the batteries would need to be changed, but they last a very long time. only thing i wish this light had was a shut off on the side instead of on the backCustomer Review: u can "install anywhere" except outdoors!
