Customer Review: Not very bright but works great for my needs

This light works very well for my needs. I live in a garden level apartment and my front door can be very dark at night. I wanted a small light that would enable me see to be able to unlock my door. The light is dim, but that is all I need. Also, it doesn't know the difference between day and night, so it turns on every time there is movement around the door. This is not a problem for me because it's so dim. I've had it up for 2 months and haven't needed to change the batteries yet. I am very happy with this purchase.Customer Review: great for place where plug is not available!

I purchased this light and the Maxxima MLS 1 for placement in locations where I don't have an outlet to plug into. This unit is far more sensitive to motion and far brighter than the Maxxima. Light is definitey bright white (LED white without a diffuser cover like the Maxxima has) so I wouldn't want to use it in a bedroom but it's great if you actually want sufficient light to see - unlike the Maxxima...and the price was better! For plug in motion sensor light the GE 50723 is awesome - especially with the Crane LED bulb!!Customer Review: SURPRISINGLY GOOD/GREAT PRODUCT

Note: I bought it for use inside my refrigerator after the light broke.
WORKS GREAT! Excellent sensitivity to motion. Bright. Stays on 30 seconds, then off.
Note 2: It seems fairly cheaply made and virtually no instructions. BUT works perfectly and don't see any reason why it need to feel or be of any heavier or more durable plastic.
MUCH better than any "tap" light I've tried (I've tried a lot) in terms of BOTH quality of light, and the automatic motion sensing of this unit.

Not super bright, designed to be hung vertically (but can be hung horizonally with the correct screw), and functions the same day or night (no daylight sensor). On, Off, Auto are your options.
If these are not an issue for you, then it actually works OK. I cannot testify how long the battery will last being on Auto 100% or how long the unit will work outdoors (protected), as I've only used one for a week. If it does OK, I'll come back and buy some more, as the price is pretty good.

My new place has no lights in or near the closets, which makes it hard to find what you're looking for! I ordered one of these lights to try out in the deepest, darkest closet, and it helped so much that I'm ordering 4 more. It's much better than a tap light, as it's brighter and motion activated. The only reason I'm giving this product 4 stars, rather than 5, is that the adhesive on the back of the velcro isn't very strong -- my light has fallen down once, and I've only had it 4 weeks.
