Sold in pairs, you should use both on a single piece of furniture. Comes with all necessary hardware, including screws. Once installed, you can't really tell they are there. However, it takes a little bit of space to get your hand behind the furniture to tighten the straps on install, so it's difficult to get them fully tightened. In other words, with furtniture pressed up against the wall, you (or your kids) will still be able to tilt or lean the furniture, but only a couple of inches -- it shouldn't tip over. Overall, a good product that is reasonably easy to install.
Amazing to me that such a necessary product is so hard to find locally -- thank goodness for Amazon!

The screw head snapped right off, causing the strap to fall off as I (lightly) tugged on the strap to get in position to screw the second screw. These straps are worse than useless if the screws are sub-par and will not stand up to the weight of the furniture - in fact it can lull parents into a safe sense of security and then the dresser or book shelf may still just as easily fall on your little one's head. IF YOU BUY THIS PRODUCT MAKE SURE YOU USE YOUR OWN SCREWS!!!! I'm done with Safety 1, I bought 6 different products from them recently, 3 just plain did not work AT ALL, 1 fell apart after a little while, 1 was OK (so far), and the 5th I will return as it has not been opened yet.Customer Review: Must have for kids who climb

I purchased the safety 1st wall straps because my 2 year old son started climbing on his tv stand. I received a package of two straps, my husband installed them fairly easily, the hardest part was digging out the stud finder. We bought another set to put onto his dresser, because I anticipate my son's interest in climbing will not be confined to one article of furniture. After installation, we both pulled on the furniture and it seemed as though it was not going anywhere, so I am pleased with my purchase and I would recommend these to anyone who has a child that has King Kong tendencies.Customer Review: I love these!

Great product that gives me a sense of safety no matter how much my little guy tries to climb. When my son was two, he opened all six drawers on his double dresser and the thing fell over when he opened the last drawer. We were blessed that he was standing to the side of the dresser. These straps prevent any future possible tragedies. Highly recommend! I've now put them on multiple bookshelves as well as the dresser.Customer Review: Simple and effective.

I would never rely on straps like this as a substitute for good supervision, but it does give me some extra peace of mind. These straps are more than adequate to hold up my bookcases and dressers. Installation is straightforward.
The only downside is that you may not want these for nice, expensive furniture. You do have to drill some holes in the backside, which may bother some people.
