Tools and Hardware Reviews of Furniture Wall StrapsCustomer Review: Great Product Summary: 5 Stars
Excellent product and easy to install. You will need 2-3 straps for most large furniture. Well worth the peace of mind. Directions are well written. You will need a drill, screwdriver and stud finder. Amazon was much cheaper than Babies R Us when I purchased mine, and the shipping was free. Thanks!
Customer Review: Difficult to Install--Screws are weak Summary: 1 Stars
I had incredible difficulty installing these and had to give up and return them after the screws that came with them kept breaking. I followed the instructions carefully, drilled pilot holes, etc., and I still had difficulty. I am returning all of these in favor of angle braces. This is ridiculous.
Customer Review: Very nice product Summary: 5 Stars
I used these on some DVD shelves (bought from Ikea) and they work great. The shelves are sitting on carpet so I was worried about them tipping over. I bought these and I'm not sure if I could even PULL the shelves down now. Looking at the shleves, you'd never even know that they are present.
Customer Review: Work great! Summary: 5 Stars
I have these for 3 different pieces of furniture in my kids' rooms, and they are great. They hold nice and tight so the kids can't yank furniture over, but are fairly easy for myself and my husband to un-clip when necessary. Definitely recommended for anyone with young kids.
Customer Review: Worthless Summary: 1 Stars
Not only are the screws cheap (they threaded immediately, forcing me to use a handheld screwdriver), but the straps don't tighten at all, either. The furniture isn't any more safe than it was before all the trouble of installing them. Completely worthless.
