I bought this a while back, recently installed a new door and put this in. easy to install, other than some minor carpentry because the door frame was not cut for this deep of a deadbolt. Issue on my end, not a the product. Simple to program, simple to operate.
I can't really think of any improvement that can be made to this product.

I installed one of these for a client and it seems to be a good product as all the reviewers say. What no one has talked about however is the standard Shlage key that can also be used to open the lock. It seems to me that this would allow the possibility of using a "bump key" to open it. One of the benefits of digital locks is their immunity to bumping. If you want the keypad just for convenience, that is fine. Just remember that any lock that can be "bumped" provides zero security.Customer Review: great product

This is a great product. It installed easily and we enjoy the safety and convience of the lock. We put it on our pump house at the lake. I have now purchased and installed 3 of these Schlage keypads, 2 "lever-style" and this deadbolt. Installation is very simple when replacing an existing lockset, took less than 20 minutes with only a screwdriver. The lock is very solid, nice appearance and durability. Very easy to program codes, simple to operate, reliable.Customer Review: Works great. Easy install.

This is great lock if you have kids who loose their keys. It installs fairly easy and has worked very well for us. It is also easy to program, although it looks like it is really important to save the instructions along with the master code to re-program the lock if neccesary.
