Quick to install. Works 100% as I had hoped and Schlage promised. Easy to set code - just keep that master one handy so that you don't need to disassemble to recover the code that is on a sticker inside the lock (indoor side).
I lost my key and had none hidden out doors. Now I don't need a hidden key.
Bought another one for my mother - that way she will lock her door when she goes to the store and not worry about messing around with keys.

I'm very pleased with this lock. It's really useful for families with kids, because you don't have to worry about them losing their key. It also has some intelligent features ... when you press the top button (above the keypad), the keypad lights up ... if it's unlocked, pressing that same button above the keypad allows you to lock the door, without entering the code. I put it on my garage door, and I'm considering getting one for my front door, too.Customer Review: Much better then a biometric deadbolt

I originally purchased a Bioaxxis biometric deadbolt. I figured it was more secure then the combination type. It was TOO secure. As in it often wouldn't let you in without trying it 10 times. Very frustrating. I decided to replace with this lock and I couldn't be happier. The mechanism feels nice and solid. It works perfectly. We've had zero issues with the new lock. We have been using this lock for over a month now & LOVE it! We got this lock to replace a finger scan lock (less than a year old & much more expensive) that had already been replaced by they manufacturer, & almost never worked!! Very frustrating. It had to go!! We love this lock so much, I wish I had not wasted my time or money on the the scanner. It was very easy to install, program & use. I highly recommend it.Customer Review: Go Keyless!

I installed this lock about a month ago. There are 10,000 possible combinatins, so it's pretty secure. Nice finish, great lighted buttons. Easy programming. Works well. Using the key is a bit tricky (if you insert it without using the proper method, it just spins), but if the battery is changed periodically (every 3 years recommended), you shouldn't need the key! Love it! Now, just need a keyless vehicle!
