Customer Review: INTERIOR LEVER !

In 10 years of buying on Amazon, this is the first review I've ever left..and Im leaving it because it's pretty darn important.

I'm a home builder...and I purchased this handle as the companion to an exterior electronic deadbolt (this is the lever amazon was suggesting to purchase with the exterior electronic deadbolt).....

After my employees installed the locks yesterday in my own home, I looked at the packaging...and this is an INTERIOR LEVER! Yes....Amazon is recommending purchasing an interior passage lever with an exterior lock set.

I am wondering if Amazon is going to honor the lifetime warranty on this finish...because Schlage most certainly will NOT honor any finish warranty when an interior lever is used outdoors!

I double checked the Amazon listing just now...and it sure appears they have indeed OMITTED the critical fact that this is an INTERIOR lever.
