I watched the installation video at the Schlage site. When the lock arrived, it tool me less than 30 minutes to remove the old lock, install the new one and program my user code. Very easy installation. The lock can be installed on left or right handed door. If you have a typical door with a lock, the only tool you would need is a screw driver. No new holes to drill. It even include the 9V battery. All metal parts, appears to be very solid construction.Customer Review: Schlage keyless entry

The Schalge Camelot Deadbolt Keypad, Satin Nickel product is wonderful. We love not having to use a key to enter the home. It's a very sturdy lock, and the product is well designed. We purchased it at Lowes for $118.00 (had used a $10.00 store discount). We are now looking to purchase two more.

Beautiful for touch and operation. Easy to install, easy to program, and easy to operate. No more looking for the key. Easy to operate even at night thanks to the built-in illumination. More than enough lock combination possibilities. Numbers are easy to see and wear-proof. Handle lever is beautifully designed -- so much better than the round knob I used to have. Received, installed and programmed all very easy. It is wonderful. No longer have to leave a door open or be home when the kids are expected home - they just push a few buttons to get into the house. This lock was easy to install, easy to program & the kids found it easy to use. With a turn of the thumbknob the lock can be set to automatically lock or remain unlocked when the door is closed. That was important to me. I usually keep it locked but it's nice to be able to keep it unlocked for unloading groceries or the like.
