Tools and Hardware Reviews of Premium Woodworkers Complete 18-Tool Chisel Set - Custom CaseCustomer Review: not a good buy Summary: 1 Starsi bought these as a starter set to see if i would like woodcarving. i wont find out cause i wont be using these. the angles are much to high and you cant carve anything with them. they are very dull as well. it is a disappointing buy but i guess what can you expect from something cheap.
Customer Review: ven better than we'd expected! Summary: 5 StarsThe tools were full-size, in a very durable roll, with whetstones specific to the shape of the blades. Anyone would be proud to have them, no matter how experienced the carver. I am impressed and relieved that as I start teaching my son and the boy scouts woodcarving they will have everything they need to create precise projects and care for the blades. I won't be having to run out to get another tool in order to complete our woodcarving projects--that is how complete this set was.
Customer Review: Perfect for feathering Summary: 5 StarsI have tried lots of varying types of tools to add detailed feathering to the birds I carve. These work for me. Just what I needed.
Customer Review: You Get What You PAy For!! Buy American!!!!! Summary: 1 StarsOne of the cheapest quality sets of woodworking tools I have ever owned. Should have known better. Handles fell off while opening the rollup bag. Low quality steel in blades. Best to look for something from Germany or USA.
Customer Review: Cheap Tools Summary: 1 StarsI do not own these tools. I have not even seen them, but I can say from experience that in the case for carving tools, the old addage "You get what you pay for" is absolutely true. Good carving tools are expensive. In my opinion, the most reasonably priced "good" beginner sets are the Flexcut Tools.
