If you buy this safe and put all your valuables in the safe and bolt it to the floor, you sir are not too bright. All this does is make it easier to carry all your possessions. I was one of the not so bright and with three swift prys with a typical flathead screwdriver the thieves had everything I had of value in one convinient carrying case. Do not use the hardware provided...id suggest loading this thing full of bricks so it just weighs them down because they will take it and they will get it open.Customer Review: Not made in New York.

I suppose I should have done my homework a little better before purchasing this item. I normally hunt out products made in the US, and don't mind spending a little extra for them. Sentrysafe's webpage says 'Proudly made in the USA'. However, this item is not. I do applaud Sentrysafe's efforts to bring some of it's operations back to the US.
As far as the item itself, I would say that it's pricey for a Chinese made metal box with an electronic lock. This item shouldn't be more than $30.

I did receive the safe in about four days. The safe was easy to set up and appears to work as advertised. For what it is designed to do, it works well. This is not a super secure safe but rather a lock box that can be attached to a shelf or wall. I am sure a determined burglar would have no problem breaking into this safe but it does offer protection for papers and small items. The combination can be set to use up to 8 digits of your choice and has a key back up. Good value for the money.Customer Review: Easy and secure

We had jewelry taken by who knows who. We had used a semilar Safe on cruise ships and knew how easy they were to use.
I like this one, because it had a key as well as the buttons just in case and the key is kept away from the area. It is easy to open and you don't have to enter a code to lock it, just shut the door and turn the lock. So it is fast to use too. It was simple to install and came with the screws, although we used more than the two they sent.

I had originally purchased a safe at Target. I was not pleased with it and returned it. While walking around the store, I pulled out my phone and began my search. I found this safe which fit my needs perfectly! Keypad entry as well as a key, solid yet not that big (perfect for my belongings) and great price! If you are in the market for a smaller safe for jewelry and cash, this item is perfect! As always, my purchase from Amazon was perfect!
