I recently purchased 2 ionic breeze quadra's which came with this product for free. I had them for 1 week and returned them all, but they let me keep this thing (which i threw away after leaving the sharper image store). I was sucked in by the fancy TV commercials and hype, but don't let it happen to you. Not only has this product been tested and proven to be useless as an air purifier. It releases ozone into the air (which the manual describes as a clean mountain air smell), though it claims to be a "safe" amount of this toxic gas that it produces. some consumer reports show that in certain cases it releases more than they indicate even when used as directed. To sum it up, it doesn't clean air and releases toxic gas. but don't take my word for it, look up some consumer reports on google.
