I have seen similar items at the local hardware store
that are at least twice the cost, and poorer quality.
Well made.
I could use some of the pliers to be a bit bigger - like the
side cutters, so only 4 stars - but they all seem to
work well - like a tool should - but usually not at such a great price. Great value item.

I got this set along with a magnetic level and box cutter for $14.00 shipped. The pliers alone are worth much more than this. Granted, they aren't Craftsman, but then again they're 1/3 the price. The grips are great for high force situations, and they metal itself seems quite durable. If you can get this set for less than $15.00, I would recommend it.Customer Review: You can't go wrong on these

While Chinese made, they don't fall into the catagory of Chinese junk. They are well made & will hold up to abuse.
Unlike "lifetime" guaranteed tools, you can break one of these and not have to stand in line at the big box store to get a replacement.
They are inexpensive (not cheap) enough to throw away and grab another.

Set of junky pliers, cheaply made - on the other hand one can't expect decent quality for that kind of price.
Will keep a pair in my car, rest will probably be loaned to other pple to make them feel guilty for not returning them and therefore preventing from asking for something more valuable.

Comes with free shipping and a bonus 8" aluminum torpedo level with magnetic strip that, believe it or not, is made in the USA!!! The pliers, made in China, appear sturdy. The handles could have had a nicer padded plastic grip, but for the money, this set simply cannot be beat.
