Tools and Hardware Reviews of Sheffield WH58009 Folding Lock Back Utility KnifeCustomer Review: Sub-par Summary: 2 StarsCool looking anodized and switch-blade-style handle, but the hinges and the grooves made for replacing the blade is made poorly. The blade will stay in place but the blade cover won't lock. The switch-blade style doesn't open-up like a real switch-blade would using the thumb. Very stiff. but since it's not a *weapon* who cares?
Customer Review: Looks cool Summary: 4 StarsAlthough it's just a glorified cut-o knife, this things looks fantastic. It's easily clipped to your belt so you can carry it around without worrying about damaging the blade. Very sharp and works fantastic.
Customer Review: a little scratched up Summary: 4 StarsThe knife came a little scratched up . it looked used.--still, the quality is good and it is going to get scratched up any way
Customer Review: Great .... But... Summary: 3 StarsWell, I really enjoyed this product but it broke quite soon after I started using it, maybe a week or so in - I was working as a stocker using it repeatedly for 8+ hours a night. I was impressed with it enough that I had amazon exchange it for a new one. I do not work in the same place now so I have not used it the same way, but the second one is still in good shape. I would not recommend this to the heavy user, but rather the occasional user.
Customer Review: Sheffield Lock Back Utility Knife Summary: 5 StarsThis is a fine utility knife that surprized me with it's Quality. I have used this knife primarily for cutting carpets and sheetrock. It is built sturdy and the lockback is not some flimsy piece of metal that will break easly or allow the knife to close on you.
