I destroy pillows. My humongous head will flatten a pillow in a couple weeks. I finally broke down and bought these pillows after realizing that I was spending a small fortune, annually, on pillows. These latex pillows are good! Not amazing. Not terrible.
They are springy. They are not as firm as you may expect. They do stink a bit when they are new. They do provide decent support. They do not seem to hold heat as much as a normal pillow. They do hold their shape. And they do provide less support over time.
I aired them out for about a week before I put them on the bed, which seemed to help with the latex glove smell. My wife found hers to be a little full-feeling at first. It took a couple weeks for it to settle a bit. If you like to sleep with your arms under the pillow, it will take some time to get used to the feeling. After 18 months, I am finding mine to be a bit flat. It doesn't look flat, but it doesn't support the way it used to. I have never had a pillow last this long! These pillows have definitely saved me money. I am ordering 2 more.
