I have been very happy with this mattress pad. I bought it for my 3 year old daughter who is just getting used to going without pull-ups at bedtime. In the last month, I have washed it 4 times. I wash it on normal settings and dry it on normal heat. While it is a bit tricky putting back on the bed after washing (it SEEMS like it's shrunk) really you just need to stretch it out and then it goes on just fine. It's also very comfortable and doesn't have that plasticy feel or sound to it.Customer Review: Very good product

That is my third Simmons Beautyrest Cotton Blend Waterproof with Laminate Twin Mattress Pad. I have a twins girl so I have purchase 2 of these at the same time and this time is for spare. One day one of the pad gets "WET" by my little girl. The pad is wet but not for the mattress. So it really do the waterproof job. Just one thing is it take a longer time to dry the pad in the dryer. However it is much better the mattress get wet!Customer Review: Protects your investment

Now that my granddaughter is old enough to sleep without diapers, I knew that there was still the possibility of an "accident" so I bought the waterproof pads for my beds. Within the first week of her visit this summer, she proved me right- and I'm so glad that I was prepared. Other than the hassle of washing the bedding, the mattress was nice and dry. This waterproof pad was a tight fit on our mattress. The depth was great, but the surface was a little small, but it was workable. We've been using it for the past month (in August) and haven't felt hot and it's not too loud. It's actually quite comfy. We haven't experienced any spills yet, so we can't attest to the waterproof-ness, but when I had it in the washing machine, it did pool a lot of water.Customer Review: Best pad I have found so far

This pad goes on easily and stays in place. There is no plastic feel or noise. It is soft and comfortable. And it protects the mattress from accidents that take place on top of the bed. My only warning is that it is not designed to protect the sides of the mattress (for instance, when my kid hugs the edge of the bed by the wall and has an accident), but few if any are designed to protect the sides.
