We looked all over for a simple battery tester and resorted to Amazon when we could not find a single one in stores. We like it. It is simple and easy to use and does not require a battery like some did. Some complain of the shipping cost but we find it is worth every penny. I owned a battery tester years ago. I lost it and was bummed. Our batteries are constantly falling out of the original packaging or removed from items that we threw away, but kept the batteries. The tester didn't work at all right out of the packaging, and was so inexpensive that I just tossed it rather than hassle with returns. The Amazon service is great, but I didn't want to bother; I needed it now, for work, so I went to the store and bought another.Customer Review: indicator not accurate and a little tricky to hold

This battery tester is not very accurate. Most of the AA batteries that I test fall under the good range, even when it needs to be recharged.
It is also a little tricky to clamp battery being tested.
I am not satisfied with this product.
