We chose this mailbox for its sleek, classy appearance and stainless steel construction. Most similar products were much more expensive. It was easy to mount and looks great on our contemporary house. Although it does not feel as sturdy as a commercial mailbox (i.e., it would probably dent if you gave it a hard punch), it is perfectly adequate for normal residential use. It keeps our mail secure in a low crime environment because the mail slot is too narrow for any hand except that of a tiny child to reach into, and envelopes fall far to the bottom anyway. The key opens up the front panel to permit easy mail retrieval. We bought it two weeks ago and cannot yet comment on durability but do not foresee any problems. I would highly recommend this mailbox.
