I love the skylink security system. I installed about a year ago. had only two false alarms,not bad. very good motion sensors and self monitoring. dont have to pay 30 buck a month for some company to call you and tell you the alarm is going off. this system will call you and you can have it call several people. I bought this extra motion detector to instal in the basement..you can actually ad a lot of options to this system. worth everypenny and you get piece of mind.Customer Review: Work great - sort of

Very easy to program with the SC-1000.
Don't work well for pets. Leave mine off all the time.
However even on high sensitivity they don't seem to pick you up 100% of the time when moving through their sensor range. Would be better if they had a dial for sensitivity adjustment like their vibration sensors do.

I bought this over two years ago and it is still working fine.
Easy to use. I tested it several times and the sensors each time worked. And the alarm sound is pretty loud as well.
We now feel much safer when sleeping, knowing that the alarm would alert us if anyone is down stairs.

This motion sensor works great. But there is one fault with it. They used cheap battery connectors and it is nearly impossible to change them without pulling the connector apart. I've had to re-wire two of these with replacement battery connectors from Radio Shack. Otherwise, no complaints.Customer Review: works well.

I added this as an extra sensor to my skylink system. Just power it on and stand beside your control panel as they learn each other. Then you can install anywhere in range and it should work. The skylink motion sensors and the system itself work very well. I am happy with them.
