This product works great! It has a pretty good range and I have not had any issues with it.
The build it very sturdy. It is in a hard plastic housing. The remote is also solid. I keep the remote on my key chain and have the receiver on a power strip so I can power on multiple devices.

Ordered this based on the reviews about the distance this can be used from and it is as advertised. I'm able to turn on a light in the house from the end of my driveway (about 50 ft) so now a light is on when I enter. Works as expected. The only surprise was that you have to hold the button in for a second for it to work. I initially thought it wouldn't make it through a few walls even though the distance was only about 40 feet, but holding the button down for a second (vs. just a quick blip) did the job.
