Customer Review: Iso Sore!

I really liked this pillow for the first few days but after sleeping on it a few weeks, my neck and shoulders hurt like crazy and I started experiencing pressure headaches. It wasn't until I slept on another pillow that I realized the Iso-Cool Pillow was the problem.
Despite feeling very plushy when I push down on it with my hands, it felt like a rock under my head. A firmer pillow is probably ideal for some people, so posting a review like "Worst Pillow Ever!!!" is impractical. That said, keep a few things in mind before you purchase this:
1) The pillow is 4.5 inches thick, which is pretty solid. It seemed to angle my neck upward (hence the neck pain).
2) The case that comes with the pillow is excellent but you'll have to wash it some time (especially since its white!). Trying to fit this pillow in another case is difficult and sometimes impossible due to the thickness and sticky consistency of the foam.
3) People seem to be hot and cold with memory foam. If you've slept on traditional pillows and you're looking to buy your first memory foam pillow, see if you can get your hands on a friend's or find one in a department store to see how it feels for you. This is my second memory foam pillow and I think they're a bit firm for me so I'm switching to a softer down pillow.
4) As some of the other reviews have mentioned, it's not going to be cool every time you put your head on it. The other side of the pillow gets pretty cool (like most pillows), but don't expect much from that department.
It's a neat idea and I'm sure it's a perfect pillow for some people. Just not for me unfortunately.
