I have had my pillow just over a week. I aired it out for about 8 hours- but didn't find the smell bothersome at all. I washed the cover before my first use that first night and that was all I needed. The first night the pillow was too firm (and I had wanted a firm pillow) so I was a little worried, but by the second night it was pure bliss. It is firm enough to be very comfortable but still has the wonderful give of memory foam. It is nice and big (I have the Gussetted Side Sleeper) and I find it comfortable on my side or back which is nice. The cover isn't as soft as I would like but it is comfortable enough. (I was used to a microfiber cover on my previous memory foam pillows) The cover really does seem to stay cooler longer than my regular pillow cases. Like all memory foam I have tried previously it does get warm after a while, but I am a very hot sleeper and am finding this one with the Iso-Cool cover does stay much cooler which helps me get to sleep and stay asleep. It is reasonably priced for the quality that compares to much more expensive brands that I've tried (Serta, Temperpedic). I highly recommend this pillow especially if you are looking for something to keep you cooler at night.Customer Review: BEST SLEEP EVER!

Ok, first off, everyone is different and has different builds and tastes and so on and so forth, but as for me, THIS PILLOW IS FREAKIN AWSOME, so awsome in fact i bought one for my husband this xmas. And he loves it too. And as for the lady who had her son write a video, that is horrible, come on people, this kind of product is really an opinion and taste issue, like food, not everyone likes the same thing, some like hard some like soft some like medium, who is to say. but let me tell you, i get hot and this really cools me off, works better though if you don't use a pillow case for the cool issue. But it's goes beyond that, the pillow is just really comfy, like sleeping on hard air, i know that does not make sense but it supportive but soft at the same time. It does not sink and loose its shape over time, it springs right back into place. If you have back problems this pillow will not solve them, loosing weight and back exercises will (not a pillow you dummy) do don't look for this as a fast alternative to back problem issues. Anyway I would have givin this pillow a 10 stars if they had that option, just try it, it will be the best purchase ever made!Customer Review: Really does work

I was surprised by the weight of this pillow. It's the heaviest pillow I've ever felt. Like other reviewers, I noticed the chemical odor. It was much better after airing it out a couple of days. I still noticed a bit of the smell for over a month. Now, after a couple of months, I don't notice any smell. It is thicker than I imagined--the edges are about 3 inches high. I usually sleep on a VERY thin pillow, so initially that was a problem for me. After a lot of use, the edges are now a bit softer. After all that being said, here's the important part: IT WORKS! I have been having hot flashes for 10 years now, and this is the only things that helps, short of sleeping on a frozen muscle therapy bag (which, of course, eventually becomes unfrozen, and thus useless). The foam somehow dissipates the heat and it is wonderful. When 1 side of the pillow is hot, I just turn it over, and since the foam is so thick, the other side is still cool. It doesn't eliminate having a hot pillow, but it cools so much faster. I would recommend it to anyone who has hot flashes or night sweats.Customer Review: Firm but not firm enough for me

This pillow is very heavy and firmer than many pillows, but still too soft for my needs. I am a side sleeper and have nerve damage and bone spurs in my neck so if my pillow isn't firm enough to keep my head and neck in the same position throughout the night without sinking down into the pillow, keeping the weight evenly distributed, then I wake up in extreme pain. I bought this pillow because of all the wonderful reviews I read, but I have to say that it just isn't firm enough for my needs. Maybe my neck is worse than many folks, but it just did not provide enough stable support for my neck and I woke up in worse pain than before I went to sleep. I've spent hundreds of dollars on dozens of different pillows and I'm so frustrated I'm thinking of just buying some high-density foam (but not memory foam because it's just too soft) and carving my own custom pillow out of it. One good thing about this pillow with its cooling cover is that I did not experience the sweating effect I've had in the past with other memory foam pillows.Customer Review: The search is finally over...

...for a reasonably priced pillow that gives a good night sleep (for me, anyway!) Aside from some super-pricey white goose down pillows, these have been the best pillows we've owned. Most regular pillows are great for the first few weeks or months, and then they start to pack down and cause pressure point problems. However, this gusseted pillow is the perfect 'height' and firmness for side-sleeping, and also allows very comfortable back sleeping, as well. The memory foam slowly conforms as you lay down and nestle in. Just like our memory foam mattress, it gently 'cradles' where you need support, without being too hard. No tossing and turning - helps me sleep all the way through the night without waking. Plus the 'Iso-Cool' feature really seems to work nicely, especially as you are falling asleep. LOVE it.
