Customer Review: Couldn't use with iMac sleep mode

No matter the adjustments I made, it would turn on and off over and over when iMac went to 'sleep'. I gave it two weeks and constant fiddling, but I have given up. Two stars for layout and the unit has a good heft to it. Unit feels substantial and has a nice long cord with a flat to the wall plug. It just wouldn't work with my already power-conscientious iMac.Customer Review: Smart Strip

Purchased the Smart Strip about 6 weeks ago and it does everything that it says it will do. It shuts down all the peripheral items that are plugged into the Smart Strip LCG4 every time I shut down my computer. Makes life and saving energy just a little easier. Worth the money in my opinion.

I bought one of these for my husband for Christmas and liked it so well we bought two more for other areas of the house and even gave one away as a gift. It works very well and is easy for even the least technically inclined to set up. I used this product in place of a surge protector with a manual on/off switch that failed on me. It's very convenient to just have the items switch on and off with the cpu. My only complaint is that the pot you adjust to set the threshold seems a little touchy. I've had to adjust it a few times but I suspect that will settle down shortly.Customer Review: Disappointment

I like the arrangement and number of the outlets. That's why I gave it 2 stars.
The outlets, ALL OF THEM are functionins simply as OUTLETS.
The ones that are SUPPOSED TO TURN OFF, DOESN'T !!!!
It's smart alright, from a marketing view point to sell these.
But not so SMART to buy one.
