Bought in attempt to automate turn on/off of an old power amplifier.
Now when I switch main audio receiver via remote control the amplifier comes up as well. Every time, very reliable. Power handlig isvery good as well. Devices consume 1600 watt combine at full power. The strip is handling that just fine.
Highly recommended.

I wasn't too sure about this when I bought it online but after fiddling with it at home it has been a breeze to use. Also, the rest of my family who normally wouldn't participate in this type of energy savings now participates just by shutting off the tv at night!
I would repurchase again.

I bought two Smart Strips and had a problem with one of them because of the device I had plugged into the control outlet. Support people are great, took a week or so to figure out what was happening but they did and are going to send me a new unit which corrects the problem.Customer Review: Smart Strip

This product is easy to use and convenient. I no longer have to remember- or worse yet have my husband remember to turn off the entertainment center. It's automatic. I have not yet received my electric bill so I can't compare the savings. I am sure it's working though.
