Very excited to get my Chillow. Read the reviews and figured the investment was not tremendous if it didn't help my hot flashes. I'm up a lot during the night, and the Chillow did help cool me off quicker. I need to flip it around a good bit to find the cool parts. I keep it in a separate pillow case on top of my regular pillow. I think I need to get a flatter pillow - the 2 stacked gave me a stiff neck. The Chillow got folded up - as 1 of the other reviewers mentioned. But I was able to straighten it out by holding the 2 top corners and shaking it out (like putting on a duvet cover). I've had the Chillow for about a week. For now, it's just ok. But I'm hoping with some practice, I'll like it more.Customer Review: ChillowPlus is the best!!!

I bought this product while searching the internet. I have been going through menapause and severe hot flashes also severe leg cramps. I couldn't wait to receive it and use it. Although the preparation takes a bit of time once it is done you will not be disappointed. It kept me cool all night and when my legs were so bad I placed it under my calf muscles. It is wonderful. I only wish I would have found this sooner. The rubber smell takes a while to disappear but I can live with that. I have always gotten really hot when I sleep at night and wake up sweating. I did some research on the Chillow before my purchase and saw it had good reviews, so I figured I'd try it out. SO worth it! I followed the instructions which are elementary, put water in it and let it sit for 4 hours, and it was the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. I highly suggest this if you get hot at night. This product isn't like an ice cube and feels great when you lay on it. It stays cool not frozen. My dog has recently discovered which pillow it's in and I'm now forced to share my pillow with my 5lb dog. Thank goodness they make a mini chillow, then he can have his own :)Customer Review: Chillow Plus

The Chillow Plus is a definite improvement over the original Chillow. What makes it better is the larger size. It stays cooler longer during the night and it is easier to move your head to a cool spot if the area you are sleeping on gets warm. Befor getting this new larger size, I had to use two Chillows during the night to keep a cool sleeping surface. The only minor problem I had with the new Chillow Plus was a mild "plastic smell." I contacted their customer service and they suggested washing the Chillow with an equal part water and vinegar solution and after that rinse with soap and water to get rid of the vinegar smell - it worked and now there is no odor.Customer Review: Cool but needs work...

I bought the ChillowPlus for my Husband. He loves to be cold when he sleeps; so I thought this might keep him comfortable. It stays cool for most of the night; and at first it stayed inside his zippered pillow case quite nicely. He loves it, but can't keep it in his pillow case any more; it seems to have softened and now slides to the bottom or front of his pillow. This seems to be a common problem, by reading the other reviews.
He now keeps it under his pillow, outside of the case; and flips his pillow over when he gets hot.
He says it seems to keep the side of the pillow that it's making contact with cooler, then without it.
