I purchased this after a few years of consideration. I can say I was disappointed that by the wee hours the chillo was hot, it had absorbed my heat but did not dissipate as it says it does so I had to move it to the floor for the rest of the night. Other times I woke up clammy from lying on it and it was all bunched up near the bottom of pillow. At some point I pushed towards the headboard to get it out of my way and when I pulled it in the morning it developed a tiny tear and leaked. The plastic cover is vert thin.Customer Review: Not What I Expected

Chillow Plus description indicated one side was plastic and the other side was supposed to be something different. Much to my chagrin, BOTH sides are plastic! I found this to be very disappointing. I had a chillow from the Discovery Store that I used for 7 seven years; although one side was plastic, the other side was a velvet-like material - I loved that chillow! This chillow plus I just bought was a replacement. And honestly, it's okay... but certainly not as described, hence not what I expected.

This summer has been so horribly hot and muggy, I had very high hopes for this product, based on some of the recommendations I'd heard. Unfortunately, the ChillowPlus didn't meet my expectations. It does not retain the "cool" long enough if you stay on it -- though it does feel good if you get off and then back on. Bt far worse is the awful chemical odor that does not dissipate with time. It is really off-putting and unpleasant -- even the cats won't come near it!Customer Review: I can finally sleep

Amazing. This is the best product that I have ever owned. If you and your spouse don't agree at what the temp should be then I recommend this to you now.
For the negative reviews- well- there is a reason. They filled it too much and/or did not bleed it correctly or more than once. Really this item is not trouble at all. It is everything it is meant to be. I have bought three have never had a problem with any of them.

I was so excited about this when I saw it on Rachel Ray that I couldn't wait to order it. Since I suffer from awful hot flashes and night sweats, I did put it in the refrig for 30 minutes after it was activated. I actually looked forward to going to sleep for a change! But after 2 hours I woke up to the pillow being very hot as if it had absorbed all my heat and I smelled terrible from sweating on the plastic. Very disappointed.
