Customer Review: The best snap-seal product

As other reviewers have noted, these containers are excellent - they make an airtight (and watertight) seal, and go in the dishwasher with no hassles (I dig the gasket out with a butterknife to wash it, but it's not really necessary).
They are called "Mods" because their sizing is modular (marked out by the squares on the lids), which makes it easy to share lids and nest the boxes for storage. This particular set is the set I got for packing lunches. It contains:
- four 1x1 1-level-deep boxes and three 1x1 2-level-deep boxes (red gasket)
- four 1x2 1-level-deep boxes and three 1x2 2-level-deep boxes (blue gasket)
- one 3x2 1-level-deep box and one 3x2 2-level-deep box (purple gasket)
The 1x2x2 boxes are the right size for sandwiches (put them in on end), and the 1x1x2 are the right size for pears and apples. The minis (1x1x1) are perfect for desserts and snacks.
There are lots of similar snap-containers out there. These win on two points - First, they nest to stack. Second, they're made in the USA. And that second point is certainly worth a few extra cents per container.

I was visiting my Mom who was using this product and decided to give it a try. I picked a set up from Costco and fell in love with the product. Provides a great seal, fits into the fridge nicely, easy to stack. I dropped one the other day in my kitchen right after filling it up, it bounced across my floor and landed upside down - it held up great, did not leak or lose it's top. I have been putting them in my in the dishwasher and I use heat to dry the dishes. I have noticed the rubber seals coming loose from the tops. I don't know if this is going to affect the validity of the seal. I'll post later if it does. My first ever endorsment. My set of Snapwear arrived a few days ago. I really appreciate how fast I can put the lid on. It takes forever to get the lid on other sealable containers. This literally just "snaps" on in seconds. In two days we have had two family members request Snapwear for Christmas. I also appreciate the way it stacks in the fridge. Being rectangle in shape it makes the most of limited space. Storage is a breeze, I have it stored in one drawer, containers nested in each other, tops to the side in order of size. This is especially convenient for persons with limited kitchen storage. I also find ordering through Amazon with Prime cost effective.Customer Review: TRULY the best seal, finally!

I've used sooo many food storage containers! None have held true to their promise of being watertight or airtight. Some get warped too easily. Others go into the dishwasher and come out with detergent residue/marks stuck all over them that just won't come off. I just assumed all plastics were prone to this, but I was wrong. This snapware set had none of these problems! No more spilled lunch juices in my reusable bags! I can't say enough about how much I love these. Now, all my other containers are being used for sending guests off with leftovers in containers that they can keep!Customer Review: better than Rubbermaid and Tupperware

I bought the 32 piece Snapware set a year ago and gave all my Rubbermaid and Tupperware away and have been 100% pleased with the air-tight storing of all wet and dry foods. I store most foods in the freezer and put the -bottoms only - in the dishwasher so as not to damage the gasket. Maybe it's not necessary, but it seems prudent for longevity. I've recently transferred half- gallons of ice cream into the larger Snapware so now our dessert no longer suffers freezer burn or ice crystals! Amazing product.
