Customer Review: The only pillow I sleep on

I'll admit that at first I found the pillow noisy and way too hard, but after a week, I was hooked. And now, 7 years later, this is the only pillow I sleep on. The "crunchy" sound mentioned in other reviews is a non issue since you don't move around once you find that perfect spot. I honestly don't even notice it anymore. And finding that "perfect spot" is easy since it shapes to the curves of your neck and head. I very rarely get a sore neck anymore. I take it with me whenever I travel since I've become so used to it. As crazy as it sounds to sleep on a bag of buckwheat hulls, I wouldn't have it any other way.Customer Review: Buckwheat pillow

I've been using a buckwheat pillow for more than 10 years - the only pillow that I can use - otherwise I wake up with a headache.
This one is not as comfortable as the previous ones that I purchased locally (no longer available in-store). I think the reason is that it is stuffed too tightly. I don't want to remove the extra stuffing too soon because I'm thinking that the buckwheat hulls may break down with use. So I just give it a few more poundings with my fist to make a nice indentation for my head. I would still recommend it however because it does the trick and I wake up headache free.

I purchased the pillow directly from Sobakowa's site. It took a month and a 1/2 for it to arrive. When I received them (I bought 2) they were dirty! Well the cases were. They looked like they were handled by dirty hands. Once I got them all washed up, I spent my first night with them. I must say, I love them! They are a bit small, but how much room does the human head really need? It's just the right size. I would strongly suggest buying the pillow. Just don't get it directly from the site!! It's worth it to pay a little extra for a clean product and speedy delivery!Customer Review: never go back to traditional pillows

I've had a sobakawa pillow for almost 10 years, still using the same one! Just ordered another one for a friend. I struggled forever with traditional pillows and neck rolls trying to make them feel just right. I like how i can make it mold perfectly to my neck. They really feel nice and cool in hot summer nights. It was slightly tricky to get used to at first because they feel slightly crunchy, but after a week i was hooked and will never go back. Sometimes i use 2 to read in bed, or put it on top of a feather pillow. Only $20 and it will last a LONG LONG time!Customer Review: lorimr

I had one of these pillows a long time ago. I liked it but it was too small. When I read that they had standard pillow size and queen I thought the standard was a new improved normal sized pillow but it's not. It's still the same little pillow as before and it doesn't seem to have enough filling in it either. I will probably end up ordering a second pillow to fill my pillow case and have a big enough pillow to sleep on. Other than that I love the buckwheat pillows, I just wish I would have ordered the queen size because that is probably closer to normal size.
