We received the Sonic Scrubber as a gift from my in-laws. It worked as advertised...up to a point. I used several of the scrubbing heads to clean our shower stall, and the grout was looking pretty good. But then I went to change the head again--and half the motor assembly sheered off! I wasn't using excessive pressure or anything. The device was functional for just under an hour until this happened. The composition of the plastic simply isn't strong enough to stand up to normal use. Too bad; if not for the inferior materials, this would have been a handy cleaning tool.Customer Review: what a time and work saver

So far I have used this product to clean baked-on food from pans, and on the grout and caulk in my shower--tasks which used to take me a lot of time and elbow grease, often with less-than-satisfactory results. The sonic scrubber worked great--quick and effortless. I also like the waterproof labels that are included, so you can label the tool and brush heads to show what they are used for--"dishes", "shower", etc. And if I need more brush heads, my local grocery store sells them!
Really glad I bought this; well worth the price.

I bought the SonicScrubber a few weeks ago and for the first time the grout in my shower is white instead of dark brown. With the help of some softscrub and warm water the tile grout in my shower is cleaner than I've ever seen it. I haven't had to replace the batteries yet either so as far as I'm concerned I got my money's worth. Before using this gadget I tried everything to clean the tile grout including scrub pads, tooth brushes, even throwing bleach at the wall, then holding my breath until I got outside. We did our own kitchen tile install and made the horrible mistake when we sealed it. Our grout has looked like heck for a long time. In desperation we bought this. Sounds silly but we use Sonic Care toothbrushes which work great so maybe this might work? Well it actually does. We used baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, mixed as a paste. Results were pretty good!
The good -> works well, low cost
The bad -> eats batteries
We are pretty happy with the product. We ended up buying two (his and hers).

This product was better than I expected. It looked like an electric toothbrush, and the reviews were mixed, but the wife complained so much about needing to find a way to clean the tile grout in the kitchen, it was worth a try. Well, she LOVES it! Now she wants me to buy her a second one for the other house. It is rather like a large heavy duty toothbrush, and it doesn't do magic on the grout, but it is waaaay better than anything else we tried. Would definitely recommend it, and will be ordering another one.
