I bought four of these to use as Christmas gifts, and I was very satisfied. I received two copies each of two different titles, one being a romance novel and the other a modern politics book. They came shrinkwrapped, but I opened them up to stick small gifts inside. The compartment was shallow, but large enough to fit a stack of bills, a passport, keys etc. And the books were completely indistinguishable from an ordinary hardback from a distance.Customer Review: Successful sneaky stash

I received a nice fat "boring" history book as a gift for a friend who has a penchant for hiding places. He loved it. It was well made, and the topic of the book was boring enough that most people are not likely to pluck it from the bookshelf. The tray is shallow, but good for extra credit cards, keys, or small love notes.Customer Review: Booksafe

Really like the books. Only one problem...placed orders twice...first order of 3 I recieved 2 books alike...second order of 3 all 3 books are like. Would be better if you could specify if you prefer all different books...They are for Christmas gifts, can't wait to see the look on the peoples faces when they open them.Customer Review: Not a common title...

I bought this in the hopes that it would 'blend in' with other books, but the title is not what I would consider a title that people would 'gloss over'. The title is Food for Millionaires which is quite bizarre.
