Customer Review: Inflated again the next day, so disappointed I returned them

I bought these bags in the hopes of saving some space for the few extra comforters I had in my two bedroom condo. If they worked then I was going to buy more bags to use for my son's outgrown baby clothes that were taking up a good amount of space in plastic totes and diaper boxes under beds.
The afternoon that I received the bags I stuffed two queen size and one twin size comforters in the biggest of the bags, used the vacuum to suck out all of the air, and it really did shrink down a lot from it's original height. I thought this was great and put another twin comforter, a large knitted blanket, a pillow, and a Boppy in the medium sized bag and sucked the air out of that too. I was so excited about the extra closet space I was going to gain by having these huge blankets and comforters shrunk down so much.
Later that night before I went to bed I checked on the bags and it seemed like they had inflated a little bit, but I was hoping that I imagined it because I really wanted these bags to work. The next morning I checked again and they seemed to have inflated some more, so I took the vacuum to the bags again and, sure enough, it sucked out some more air from them.
My husband went online to see some of the reviews and there were some people that said they do work but we needed to make sure the zipper lock was closed completely, so we left one bag the way it was with the air sucked out again and then opened the second bag and rezipped the zipper lock very carefully and sucked the air out of that bag again. Sadly, after a few days, both bags were reinflated to their original size.
Simply put, they don't work, which is such a shame because this is such a great idea. :-(
