We've been having moth problems for almost a year after having (foolishly) bought a bag of cheap birdseed from a chain store. We've used other products in the past, but bought a pair of Springstar traps yesterday. My wife put one out before going to bed, and by this morning there were over a dozen moths in it. The traps work very well, but they can be a pain to put together. To make things easier when you are starting, fold the sticky paper in half before you remove the covering, and then put a staple or two where the two sides meet. The paper will still come off just as quickly and it will make putting everything together a breeze.

I have used another brand of traps and it started catching as soon as I set it out. I decided to try a different just to see if there is a difference. There is, this one doesn't work at all!!! The traps have been out for over a week and none of the moths have even flown near it! Do not buy this product, its a waste of your money!Customer Review: Solution to persistant problem.

These work well to trap the male moths. Persitently use has apparently eliminated a long standing low level infestation caused by contaminated bulk parrot food. I now keep one open and replace it every month to be sure there are no male moths around. When no moths are trapped, no moths are around!Customer Review: Safe and Effective

It's not an instant cure for birdseed moths. It's not intended to be. It's a safe and effective method of getting rid of the pests. Within two weeks, the problem was solved. There are no harmful chemicals and the product really works!
