This is a handy little guy, and could be more for children. On the negative side, the top does not lift off and there is no handle. Yet, it is a lightweight seat to give a rest after a long day outside. It also keeps your knees dry (by keeping you off them). The wheels allow for easy movement in a lateral direction, while my tendency is to lean forward, so the Hopper does not shoot out from under me. There's a convenient cup holder for bottled water, too. Finally, the compartment under the seat is accessible from both sides and handy for tools, weeds, litter or whatnot. I bought this in January and tried it out in the house waiting for snow to go. The seat is just the right height. Today I took it out where the lawn is bare to clean dried stuff away from plants. It is going to work great and I am so excited I don't have to give up gardening. I am almost 70 and have degenerative disc disease and can't take bending over. This cart will enable me to wheel myself down the rows and weed and pick vegetables. It moved well even in the wet lumpy dead grass. It's just perfect to help me with my gardening hobby. I just bought one of these hoppers, and I love it, EXCEPT, I feel the photos are deceptive, so I thought I'd write a review so others would be aware of what they were actually getting. On the box itself, even, it shows the wheels as if they are plastic "balloon tires." They are hollow, of course, but they are totally open on the inside (they only look like wheels from the outside); they are a shell only with one side sliced open. That means gunk gets caught in them and has to be cleaned out. I may see if I can find replacement wheels that are actually wheels; with that change, I'd be 100% happy.Customer Review: Back & Knee Saver

This is one of my favorite garden purchases. It makes weeding and planting much more comfortable and I can work longer. It's lightweight, but sturdy, and not at all cumbersome. I easily grab the handle along with other tools or buckets and take it where I need it. Whether you straddle it or use it as a bench seat it's easy to wheel in 2 directions. However if you need to turn, you need to raise off it a bit and change the direction with your hands. It's sturdy and seems like it will last a long time. I highly recommend this if you are currently squatting, kneeling, or bending while you garden.
