When I recovered from my total knee replacement, the surgeon insisted that I should never ever kneel for any extended time. How does one garden without kneeling? By using the Step2 5A0000 Garden Hopper Mobile Garden Stool. I have no problem getting up and down, it is easy to carry, and I can put my gloves and tools in the storage area that is easily accessible. I have yet to use the water bottle holder but that might be useful also. Yeah, I am back in the garden!Customer Review: Great inside the house, too.

I bought this item for my wife to use in the yard because she has a bad back and has difficulty leaning over to plant flowers. It still hasn't made it outside! We've been using it in the house! It's ideal for both of us to sit on while we change diapers on our small children and play toys with them on the floor. It's fantastic for those of us who have diffuculty getting down on the floor and back up again. I might have to buy a second one for outside use.Customer Review: Helpful Item

I was scheduled for knee surgery, and had loads of spring planting to do. When I saw the Garden Hopper, I ordered it and hoped it would be what I needed at the time. It worked great on the concrete or hard surface areas, but on the thick grass, you had to give a little push with your legs. The storage area worked good for my tools, gloves and even the bulbs I was putting in the ground for next spring. The lid is so tight on this cart that I can't get it off without spilling the contents of the cart everywhere. Plus there is no place to put a rope so I can pull the cart around. While this is a sturdy seat, I have not found it useful for anything else. What is the point of a storage area if I can not get to it? Plus rain comes in and rusts anything left below anyway. Even the cup holder is too small to hold any of the water containers in my home.Customer Review: Sturdy but could have more handy features

This is a very sturdy little item for yard work, but it is very low to the ground to be handy to sit on if you have any back problems or you carry any extra weight. Would be nice if it was a few inches taller. The storage compartment under the seat is kinda inaccessible, and it would be nice if the seat popped up so you could get to what you store in there. Would also be nice to have a "tongue" so that you could pull it along.
