Tools and Hardware Reviews of Stiletto TICLW12 ClawBar Titanium Nail PullerCustomer Review: young vet carpenter Summary: 5 Stars
I have had this puller for 2 years of heavy usage. It has shown some wear and tear but all others that I have owned which is all that the H Depot sells have broken. This thing is solid but light I have been beaten on it with my milled face hammer almost everyday. It has dents in it but it doesn't mushroom like those others do. If this one ever get stolen or lost I will get another/ But as it is now it looks like I might pass this on to my son when he's ready.
Customer Review: expensive, but worth it Summary: 5 Stars
$60 for a cat's paw--that's crazy! I've heard it several times, but this thing saves a noticeable amount of weight in my toolbag, and functions well to boot. The dimpler feature is useful, especially when pulling nails from OSB, and the tool just feels and looks great. I have been using mine daily for months, and the head has yet to show any mushrooming like other cat's paws I've owned.
Spring for the expensive one: sometimes it's worth it.
Customer Review: 5 stars Stiletto Tools 1 star Amazon Summary: 5 Stars
If you carry your toolbelt 6 days a week or just feel like fixing a thing or two once in a while this is a great light weight tool to do it with. Product itself is second to none but be aware, amazon still has some old models without the dimple (like the one in their catalog) it has same part number yet two models. Two minute phone call to stiletto tools and i'm getting a new one shipped same day.
Customer Review: Fiorebuilt Construction loves this Catspaw Summary: 5 Stars
Now I'm certain spending almost 100 bucks for a catspaw sounds ridiculous, and it is. I used the hell out of this thing and it works a lot better than the steel units I've used. For one, the points are very sharp and stay sharp. My tool belt weighs a ton as it is, so having a few less ounces is work the extra money. This tool is well designed, simple, and works great. No regrets.
Customer Review: Is it really that sharp? Summary: 5 Stars
Another tool I carry all day in my bags, which I don't mind at all. My only gripe is that the claw ends are a little sharp. I know how utterly stupid that sounds, but, scratch yourself with either ends...You will know that you have been scratched!
Pulls nails like a regular nail pull, and the weight is incredible! I love this nail pull!
aloha,
