I have one of these already, just not this brand and not bought from Amazon.com, so I figured it would be the same thing that I already have. My other one my shoes fit inside the cubbies with room to spare...this one I put together a few and tried to put a pair of heels in, and they didn't fit. Also, I realized that the parts are very cheap compared to my other one. I automaticaly took it apart and sent it back. I would not recommend buying this to anyone, unless it's for kid shoes.Customer Review: Alternate method of putting it together

I had a heck of a time trying to put this thing together with the clips that were provided. The contents in the box showed that someone else did too. Half of the items were thrown in loose and the others had the ties holding them together. I decided to try using some plastic ties instead of the clips and it went together with no other problems. I don't have to worry about it falling apart every time it's moved. I suggest trying this method if the clips don't work for you.Customer Review: Shoe Cubby very accomidating

The Shoe Cubby is working great for me. I have it in my walk in closet and the space it consumes is a corner at the front of the closet and it fits great and is holding all my shoes. Some of the slots hold two pair of sandles. It was fairly easy to put to gether, and is serving my purpose I bought it for. I am very pleased with this product and my closet looks more organized. I would recommend it to anyone.

Sturdy and cute BUT...
1. Assembly needs a lot of patience and hard pounding on the clips to make them fit. I had to ask my husband do it because my hands are not strong enough. His hands became sore after.
2. Good for flipflops and shoes that are not bulky-looking. Canvas sneakers will do but basketball shoes or men's dress shoes or anthing that will not flatten won't fit in one box. It is not the length of the box but the width.

This is a really good shoe cubby. I was a little concerned because I know that with some other cubbies, the spaces that hold the shoes are rather small. The cubes to hold the shoes give ample storing space. I am even able to get more than one pair (flat sandals or slippers) into some of the cubes. The bottom of my closets is finally neat and organized. I did have a bit of an issue putting it together, but once I got the hang of it, things went pretty smoothly.
