It is extremely noisey even on the low setting, but worse is that it does not even cool. IT didn't seem to cool at all so I let it run all night in an attempt to cool down a small room, the next morning the room was 1 degree cooler than the other rooms. A fan would do similar work and have less noise and cost.
Description of SPT WA-1010M 10,000-BTU Portable Air Conditioner with Manual Controls
Stay COOL and breathe fresher air with our WA-1010M unit. Powered by a 10,000btu cooling capacity, it ideally cools an area up to 300sq.ft. Manual control is specifically recommended for use in Server rooms. If there's a power failure, unit will automatically turn itself back on when power résumés. Self Evaporating Technology during the cooling or heating process, water is extracted from the air into the unit. Most of this water is then recycled and used to cool the cooling coils and make it run more efficiently, cooling as well as energy.
