Customer Review: Great switch timer

I was using an Intermatic switch timer. With this timer my fluorescent lights were often not turned on and if turned on continuously flickering. After reading several reviews on Amazon I read several good reviews on the Swylight timer; including their good support for fluorescent lights. I decided to give these timers a try and ordered two; one with backlight and another without backlight. The timers were delivered in a reasonable time. I immediately removed the Intermatic timer and installed the backlit Swylight timer. The non-backlit will be installed later as replacement of another Intermatic swith.
Installation of the timer was easy, although took more time than initially expected as I had to pull a neutral wire. Since then two months have passed. The Swylight timer is working great; no more flickering lights. The only minus point for this timer are (1) the installation wires sticking out at the side instead of at the back, slightly hindering installation in a single box and (2) sometimes the switch turning my lights back on after I had turned them off manually during an on-cycle. Otherwise I am very satisfied with this timer. The backlit display is great. I even use it a clock to watch the time. Even without my reading glasses I can see the right time displayed.
