The light from this bulb is noticeably pinker than an incandescent, pink enough that it casts a pink hue on my walls. It does come to life quicker than the last CFLs I tried, but still takes considerable time to come up to full power. The color of the light is a deal-breaker, though, I'll be pulling it out and replacing it with an old-fashioned bulb. The CFL industry needs to figure out how to make the light either be yellow, like and incandescent, or white, like sunlight. The blue or pink bulbs the come up with just aren't going to cut it.
