I love these things! Where do I use them? I have one on the side of my nightstand, out of sight, but much easier to reach in the middle of the night than the table lamp, which is quite a reach. I like the fact that they can go on a vertical surface, and therefore don't take up any room on a useable surface. Also the light is not glaring, so it doesn't wake anyone else up, but gives a nice glow. Ordering more today.Customer Review: Perfect nitelite

I use this as a night-light and I love it. Great for going to the bathroom at night as the light doesn't hurt your eyes, yet is bright enough to illuminate the area around you. Surprisingly powerful, lasts forever, small, light and compact. I also have one stored inside my motorcycle seat. (Not great for closets without a bulb - as the light is focused and does not radiate outwards at a very close distance.)Customer Review: LED technology doesn't cut it

LED lights don't diffuse very much, so this product does not work for lighting up the inside of my backyard shed. i guess i should have known this, but i went ahead and ordered it. i'm sure it works well for lighting up a smaller space, like the inside of a cabinet. for a larger space, you're going to need a different kind of bulb, or at least one that can be directed (like a flashlight or headlamp).Customer Review: Up & Under Lighting - A GREAT Use!

I have a collection of decorative glass paper weights. I had purchased many expensise individual (electric) under lights to illuminate some of them for display. But... with the inexpensive DOT-it light I just set the crystal paper weight on top of the light and it shows through the crystal paper weight illuminating it beautifully. Plus, they are portable so I am not limited to an electrical outlet.
