I use them under my cabinets in the kitchen. Just
enough light for low level illumination. I don't have
to use the ceiling light if I just have to dash into
the kitchen for a short time in the evening. Nice
mood lighting effect. Easy to use, too. Good value
on Amazon. I paid $20 for two at Linens and Things.
I'm buying three on Amazon.

This product is very easy to use. You can stick it anywhere and it does not generate any heat. I've put it in my closet upside down and have no problems at all. It does not give as much light as a normal light bulb, but it is still is quite impressive for its size. In order to get the most of this product you should use this in a really dark place.Customer Review: Nice idea, but not much light!

Saw these advertised here... thought it would be great for illuminating a dark closet or cabinet. It does create light, but the spread of the light is tiny... its very focused. So, it works more like a flashlight than a light to illuminate a dark area well... So, if you need a flashlight, fine. If you want to light up a closet, no.Customer Review: Only for small areas

This product has great potentail but do not use it for anything larger than inside a small cabinet or cupboard. I bought it for a closet and I'd need at least 4 to give me any workable light at all. It has its purpose but the way they promote it makes you think its much brighter and has many more applications than it does.Customer Review: Great night light, not much good for anything else

I bought two of these for under my cabinets in the kitchen. I might as well have not even installed one. It made no difference whatsoever in lighting my cutting board. So I put the other one in the bedroom, makes a great night light. I didn't really need another night light; I needed task lighting in my kitchen.
