You can program the SA170 Zip-Set Timer to operate your lamps or appliances at preprogrammed times, random times, or sunset. For manual control, simply press the on/off button located on the top of the timer. You can also use the 7-5-2 feature, which allows you to set times based on a full seven-day week, five-day work week, or two-day weekend.

Simple One-Step Setup
With innovative Zip-Set Technology, the SA170 Zip-Set Timer can be programmed to turn on lights at sunset by simply entering your area code. Since it automatically adjusts for seasonal time changes, the Zip-Set Timer will never require reprogramming. When daylight saving comes around, just slide the DST button, and all programs will automatically adjust by one hour. For further convenience, you can also set the amount of time your lights remain on.

Programming Options to Meet Your Needs
The SA170 Zip-Set Timer gives you options for four additional on and off settings and a 5-minute countdown timer. A random setting is also available.

In the event of a power failure, the battery backup system keeps your settings active, so you won't have to reprogram the Timer.
